about us

Hi there! We are Emma and Sarah, and we are excited to be bringing back Aberdeen's Health and Wellbeing Festival. After a great event in 2022 we are back on Saturday the 13th January 2024 when The Beach Ballroom will play host to a day to inspire, motivate and educate!

This is a not-for-profit event, and our aim is to engage the local population into taking an active role in looking after their own health and wellbeing.

Last year we welcomed 60 exhibitors, 10 speakers, 30+ classes, various local entertainers, and around 800 attendees, and this year we are hoping to bring even more people together to showcase the incredible businesses and activities that are available across the North East.

Our idea for the festival was borne out of a realisation of how lucky we are to live in an area which has lots of organisations, charities and businesses all trying to improve the health and wellbeing of the city and shire.

We are delighted to bring many of these under one roof to offer people the chance to hear inspiring speakers or try more practical workshops. It raises the awareness of the importance of looking after ourselves, and each other which is particularly important in the current climate.

We are so delighted to be bringing the festival back to the people of Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. Our first event was held in January 2020 but then the pandemic hit, and we had to wait patiently to bring our second festival to life in 2022.

The support we’ve received from local businesses has been incredible, and we’re excited to bring even more people together in January 2024.
